Lake Raystown Retreat Deposit for 2026
Join me for a peaceful, creativity-filled spring retreat at Lake Raystown Resort in April 2026!
Imagine a few uninterrupted days where the only things on your to-do list are knit, quilt, relax, and maybe look out over the lake. No laundry calling your name. No meals to plan. Just space—real, glorious space—to make progress on the projects that have been waiting for you.
Come for the length of stay that suits you best:
Wednesday–Sunday, Thursday–Sunday, or Friday–Sunday (April 9–12).
No matter which option you choose, you'll enjoy cozy gathering time, inspiration from fellow makers, and being able to settle into a crafting groove.
We’ll be working on the following projects. (See the photos for everything except the mysteries.) Scroll through the photos to see everything!
For quilters: We’re going to use a product that will make your fabric into plastic. You can then sew an apron, a bag, a placemat, a bib—whatever you think will be useful! We’ll have an apron pattern and a bag pattern available. We’ll also make a bowl cozy, for either putting in the microwave, or just for passing food and keeping hands safe. As always, there will be a mystery table runner!
For knitters: We’ll be making an adorable mini kitty that loves to take over a mini computer. And we’ll be doing a mystery hat that I guarantee is fun!
Other crafters: Do you spin? Cross stitch? Feel free to join in! While there won’t be classes on other crafts, we’ll definitely welcome anyone who wants to do anything fun!
Most of the time, people spend time working on projects that require days of concentrated, uninterrupted work. You’ll get meals served to you, and then you can go right back to work without having to clean up!
Registration & Costs
The $100 fee is a non-refundable deposit.
IMPORTANT: After you make your deposit, please email me at cynthia@creativepathways.me, and let me know which day you plan to arrive. I’ll be sending you a bill in mid-February for the rest of your amount. You can pay with a check or PayPal. Final payments are due by March 15.
