Almost Amish was originally created as a Block of the Month in 2005. It was a favorite because of its bold design, beautiful colors, and easy construction. As part of a collection of Block of the Month projects being refreshed and brought back for today’s quilters, Almost Amish is the first of these designs to return.
Inspired by the simplicity and elegance of traditional Amish quilts, Almost Amish features a modern twist: a dramatic black background paired with bright fabrics. The result is a quilt with the classic appeal of Amish design, but with a bit more jazz.
This beginner-friendly sampler includes 12 blocks that are enjoyable to make and perfect for building confidence one block at a time. The complete pattern includes instructions for all blocks and finishing, allowing you to create the quilt at your own pace.
